Tramín Červený 2023 from Vinařství Thaya in Znojmo is a Moravian semi-sweet white from the Znojmo appellation, 0.75 l bottle.
On the nose dried rose petals, lychee and acacia honey. On the palate rounded but not cloying — Tramín has naturally low acidity, so Thaya leaves a little residual sugar to keep the wine taut and prevent it from flattening on the finish.
Pairs with Kraków cheesecake with raisins, mature gouda and goose liver pâté with onion confit.
From an organic vineyard, bottled in short runs near Znojmo.
