Pinot Gris 2023

Pinot Gris 2023 from Vinařství Thaya comes from Znojmo on the border between Morawy and Lower Austria. Semi-dry white from 100% Pinot Gris, 0.75 l bottle.

On the nose pear, linden honey and a hint of baked apple. On the palate rounded, with a touch of residual sugar; the acidity of cooler Znojmo keeps it all upright, long finish with a discreet nutty note typical of well-made pinot gris.

Serve with roast duck with apples, pork loin in chanterelle sauce or mature cow's milk cheese with acacia honey.

Thaya works under a certified organic regime and bottles in short runs; the vintage changes.
