Sylvanské zelené 2023 from Vinařství Thaya in Znojmo is a dry white Moravian wine, a grape variety rarely seen in Poland today, 0.75 l bottle.
On the nose, green apple, celery stalk and a delicate hint of white pepper. On the palate, straightforward, light, with lively acidity and a short, herbal finish. A wine with no ambition to be anything else, an honestly simple Sylvaner for an ordinary dinner.
It goes with asparagus with butter, leek tart, pork loin in horseradish sauce, and fromage with dill.
