Sauvignon Blanc 2023

Sauvignon Blanc 2023 from Vinařství Thaya comes from Znojmo on the border of Morawy and Lower Austria. A dry white wine, 0.75 l bottle, pure grape variety without oak.

On the nose, blackcurrant, nettle and a hint of passion fruit. On the palate, green, vibrant, with knife-sharp acidity and a mineral, slightly salty finish typical of Znojmo's limestone soils.

Open it with trout with lemon and dill, a salad with young goat's cheese, or herrings in onion and oil.

Thaya works under a certified organic regime and picks Sauvignon by hand in the early morning to preserve the aromas.
