Neronet 2020

Neronet 2020 from the Kanich winery in Pezinok is a Slovak dry red from the Neronet grape variety, a Czech cross with very intense colour, Malé Karpaty appellation, 0.75 l bottle.

On the nose, elderberry, dried blackberry and a bay leaf note, characteristic of an older vintage. On the palate, round, with tannins already softened by time, calm acidity, long finish with a dried plum note and a hint of cocoa.

Serve with game in blueberry sauce, roast duck with red cabbage or a board of long-aged cow's milk cheeses.

Five years in bottle have made this wine a completely different story than young Neronet; Kanich deliberately releases this vintage only now.
