FRIZZANTE Pesecká Leánka 2023 from Vinařství Kanich in the Pezinok region is a Slovak sparkling white semi-sweet wine made from the Pesecká Leánka grape variety, 0.75 l bottle. Frizzante means lower pressure than in classic sparkling wine.
Fine bubbles, light straw colour. On the nose green apple, linden blossom and a hint of candy floss. On the palate lightly sweet, Leánka's acidity straightens the flavour, short and clean finish, a purely Slovak grape variety, almost absent outside the Little Carpathians.
Open it to welcome guests, for a brunch with pancakes or a peach tart.
Kanich works the vineyards near Pezinok, a region belonging to the Little Carpathians.
