On the nose, cherry, blackberry and a hint of Tellicherry pepper. On the palate, juicy, medium soft tannins, acidity typical of Frankovka keeps the flavour fresh, medium-long finish with a note of dried marjoram.
Pairs with roast pork neck in red wine sauce, cabbage rolls with tomatoes, or beef tartare with capers.
Václav ages the Frankovka from the Magister line briefly in a 500-litre old barrel so that the wood does not cover the character of the grape variety from the vineyards in Kurdějově.
