On the nose black plum, cocoa and damp leather from a cigar box. On the palate dense and fleshy, full but velvety tannins, medium acidity; long finish with a sweet note of barrel vanilla and black pepper at the very end.
Serve with grilled rib eye steak, braised pork neck with black beans or mature asiago.
Malbec rarely fully ripens in Morawy; Maňák harvests it in the second half of October and keeps it in barrel for 18 months.
