Savilon Ledové 2021

Savilon Ledové 2021 from Vinařství Maňák Štěpán in Žádovice is a Moravian sweet ice wine from the Slovácká appellation, 0.2 l bottle from a Savilon blend.

On the nose, candied mandarin, honeydew honey and dried pineapple. On the palate, very dense and sticky, with high residual sugar; Savilon's reserve acidity straightens it all out, the finish is exceptionally long, with a bitter citrus peel note.

Serve with goose liver on toasted brioche, a seasonal fruit tart, or a mature blue cheese.

Maňák harvested the grapes at temperatures below minus seven degrees; the whole vintage amounts to about 220 bottles of 0.2 litre.
