On the nose, blackcurrant, dried plum and a hint of caramel from extended time in barrel. On the palate, fleshy and full, with rough but well-integrated tannins and medium acidity; a long finish with a sweet vanilla note.

Serve with beef goulash, roast pork loin in plum sauce, or hard sheep's cheese.

André is a Czech signature grape variety, a cross of Frankovka and Svatovavřinecké; Maňák picks it from the highest-lying plot on the slope.
