Savilon Slámové 2020

Savilon Slámové 2020 from Vinařství Maňák Štěpán is a Moravian sweet straw wine from the Slovácká appellation, Žádovice, 0.2 l bottle.

On the nose dried apricot, honeydew honey and hazelnut. On the palate very dense, with high residual sugar from grapes dried on straw for at least three months; acidity holds up well, long finish with a note of caramel and a spicy, aromatic echo.

Goes with goose liver, mature blue cheese or a simple white chocolate dessert.

Maňák dries the grapes on straw mats under an unheated shelter; the 2020 vintage amounts to around 180 bottles of 0.2 litre.
