On the nose lemon zest, linden honey and a delicate petrol note typical of a five-year-old riesling. On the palate taut, acidity still lively despite its age, pronounced minerality, long finish with bitter grapefruit zest.

Pairs with herring in linseed oil, grilled trout with dill or mature gouda.

Five years in bottle have given this Ryzlink a petrol tone absent from younger vintages of Bukovský; worth opening an hour before the meal.
