Description
Aurelius 2021 from the Bukovský vineyards is a Moravian dry white from a cross of Neuburské and Riesling, Velkopavlovická appellation – Kobylí, 0.75 l bottle.
On the nose: lime, lemon balm and first-cut meadow hay. On the palate: taut and sharp, with leading acidity and a dry finish with a bitter note of apricot stone that gently dries the palate.
Pairs with pierogi filled with quark and chives, herring in linseed oil, or goat's cheese wrapped in fresh thyme leaves.
Aurelius is a Czech signature grape variety; Bukovský plants it in the lower row by the forest, where cooler nights keep the acidity in check.
