Lipovina 2023

Lipovina 2023 from vineyards in the Slovak part of the Tokaj region is a semi-sweet white from the Lipovina grape variety (Hungarian: Hárslevelű), 0.75 l bottle.

On the nose linden blossom, peach and a hint of candied lemon peel. On the palate smooth and round with discreet sweetness, fresh acidity, long finish with a honeyed echo typical of this grape variety on volcanic soil.

Open with cheesecake with dried fruit, with peach tart and whipped cream or with young brie with acacia honey.

Lipovina is the second grape variety of the Tokaj appellation after Furmint; the Slovak side follows the same ripening conditions, 0.75 l bottle instead of the traditional 0.5 l.
