Fresh Sylvánské Zelené 2023 from Vino Hruška of Blatnička is a Moravian semi-dry white from the Slovácká appellation, 0.75 l bottle, an everyday position at under PLN 40 net.
On the nose, green apple, celery stalk and white pepper. On the palate, medium round, with minimal residual sugar; acidity is calm, the finish is short, slightly greenish, with a discreet bitter note of the stone.
Serve with ruskie pierogi, a delicate cucumber soup or cottage cheese with radish for breakfast.
The Fresh line from Hruška is bottled earlier than the rest of the programme, because the wine is meant to reach the table while it is fresh, not after two years.
