Sauvignon pozdní sběr 2023 from Jiři Uherek of Dolní Bojanovice is a Moravian dry white from the Slovácká appellation, 0.75 l bottle.

On the nose: blackcurrant, freshly cut grass and gooseberry with a light hint of grey boxwood. On the palate: taut, sharp acidity, long finish with a saline mineral note; style closer to the Loire than Marlborough, without exotic aromas.

Serve with goat's cheese from the Loire Valley, grilled white fish, or a salad of fresh tomatoes with basil.

Uherek grows Sauvignon on the cooler, north-eastern part of the plot to preserve acidity.
