Description
Cuvée Element Ignis pozdní sběr 2022 from Vinařství Jiři Uherek in Dolní Bojanovice is a Moravian dry red from the Slovácká appellation, 0.75 l bottle.
On the nose, blackberry, dried thyme and a hint of warm saddle leather. On the palate, dense and fleshy, full but well-rounded tannins after barrel ageing, calm acidity; long finish with a smoky note and an echo of black pepper.
Serve with rib eye steak with herb butter, rosemary-braised lamb or a mature manchego-style cheese.
Uherek blends Cabernet Moravia, Frankovka and Neronet in this cuvée; he ages it for 14 months in older 500-litre barrels.
