Description
Cuvée element Terra pozdní sběr 2022 from Jiři Uherek of Dolní Bojanovice is a Moravian dry white from the Slovácká appellation, 0.75 l bottle, a blend of barrel-aged and stainless-steel portions.
On the nose, yellow apple, roasted hazelnut and a delicate note of toasted biscuit. On the palate, deep and round, with phenolics from extended lees contact; medium acidity, long finish with a chalky mineral note from the soils around Bojanovice.
Pairs with roast chicken with garlic butter, porcini risotto or mature Comté-style cheese.
In this cuvée, Uherek blends three grape varieties: Chardonnay, Rulandské Bílé and Ryzlink Rýnský, with one third going to barrel.
