Neronet pozdní sběr 2023 from Jiři Uherek of Dolní Bojanovice is a Moravian dry red from the Slovácká appellation, 0.75 l bottle.

On the nose, dark cherry, ink and a smoky note of smoked plum. On the palate, dense and deep purple, with tannins that are rough but already tamed after two years; low acidity, long and dark finish with a mineral note of graphite.

Open with game and porcini mushrooms, wild boar goulash or a well-aged gouda-style cheese.

Neronet is a Czech signature grape variety, a cross of Saint Laurent, Modrý Portugal and Alibernet; Uherek grows it in a small plot with southern exposure.
