Frizzante Zweigeltrebe Rosé moravské zemské víno 2024

Frizzante Zweigeltrebe Rosé 2024 from Šalša near Kyjov is a sparkling rosé made from the Zweigeltrebe grape variety, in the moravské zemské víno category. Bottle 0.75 l, pressure lower than in classic sparkling wine, hence "frizzante".

The bubbles are fine, the colour strawberry. On the nose fresh raspberry, pomegranate and a hint of candy floss. On the palate semi-sweet but not cloying, the acidity of Zweigeltrebe straightens the flavour, the finish is short and clean.

Open it with strawberries and whipped cream, for a summer brunch with pancakes, or instead of prosecco to welcome guests.

Šalša makes this line using the Charmat method in small tanks; the 2024 vintage is around 3,200 bottles.
