Chardonnay KYJOV VOC 2023

Chardonnay KYJOV VOC 2023 from Šalša is a dry white from the VOC Kyjov appellation, bottle 0.75 l, fermented in steel with constant lees contact.

On the nose yellow apple, pear and a hint of roasted hazelnuts. On the palate medium round, fresh acidity, mineral and slightly salty finish. Without the buttery note from malolactic fermentation, Šalša deliberately stops fermentation to keep the wine taut.

Goes with chicken fillets in butter sauce, mushroom risotto and hard cheeses like Comté.

The VOC Kyjov line is a regional appellation that Šalša has belonged to since its inception.
