Description
Cuveé St. Antonius 2022 from Vino Blatel in Blatnička is a Moravian dry white, a blend of white grape varieties from the Slovácká appellation, 0.75 l bottle. The cuvée is named after the patron saint of winemaking.
On the nose: yellow apple, linden blossom and hazelnut. On the palate: round, medium acidity, long finish with oaky notes; the blend undergoes brief ageing in old oak, so the barrel is felt but does not dominate.
Pairs with roast goose with apples, mature Gouda and roast pork with marjoram.
Cuvée St. Antonius is Blatel's flagship white, bottled in small batches.
