Blatel Rulandské Bílé VOC 2023 from Vino Blatel in Blatnička is a Moravian dry white wine in the VOC Slovácká category, 0.75 l bottle. VOC means a blind assessment by the appellation panel every year.
On the nose yellow apple, linden blossom and a hint of hazelnut. On the palate round but taut, acidity drives a long finish that Pinot Blanc rarely has in the "jakostní" version; here the difference of the VOC line is audible.
Serve with chicken fillets in butter sauce, leek risotto and hard cheeses such as Gruyère.
Blatel bottles the VOC series in shorter batches than "jakostní", the appellation panel in Blatnička.
