Pálava výběr z hroznů 2023 from Vinařství Vaďura is a Moravian sweet white from the Slovácká appellation near the village of Polešovice, 0.75 l bottle.

On the nose, dried apricot, damask rose and white peach with a creamy aftertone. On the palate, round and deep, sweetness pronounced but carried by fresh acidity, long finish with a slightly spicy accent from the cross of Tramína and Müller-Thurgau.

Serve with pear and blue cheese tart, goose liver pâté with cranberry compote or a white chocolate dessert.

Pálava is a Czech proprietary grape variety bred in the 1950s; Vaďura grows it in Polešovice on a sunny south-facing slope.
