Frankovka jakostní 2022 from Vinařství Vaďura is a Moravian dry red from the Slovácká appellation, from the village of Polešovice, 0.75 l bottle.

On the nose cherry, blackcurrant and a hint of Tellicherry pepper. On the palate juicy, medium soft tannins, acidity typical of Frankovka keeps the flavour fresh, medium-long finish with a spicy note.

Serve with roast pork neck in red wine sauce, cabbage rolls with tomatoes, or beef tartare with capers.

In the jakostní class Vaďura does not use new oak; Frankovka matures briefly in older oak and is bottled as an everyday glass of wine.
