Cabernet Moravia jakostní 2021 from Vinařství Vaďura is a Moravian dry red from the Cabernet Moravia grape variety, a cross of Cabernet Franc and Zweigeltrebe, Slovácká appellation from near the village of Polešovice, 0.75 l bottle.

On the nose, blackcurrant, blackberry and a touch of red pepper, characteristic of the cabernet family in cooler vintages. On the palate, medium-bodied, firm tannins, leading acidity, long finish with a note of cedar and dried marjoram.

Serve with roast lamb with rosemary, beef goulash with peppers or a board of long-aged cheeses.

Cabernet Moravia is a Czech proprietary cross from the 1970s; Vaďura harvests it late, only after the first cool nights.
