On 12 and 13 April 2024, Kapka Wina officially arrived in Katowice — we opened our shop at 8 Dworcowa Street, in a location that means more than just an address on the city map: a three-minute walk from the railway station, on the main pedestrian axis of the city centre. We chose this spot deliberately — if Kapka Wina is to meet the people of Katowice, it should be right here, where the city flows every day.
Two days, two energies
Friday evening, 12.04 belonged to brand friends, business partners and local media. We served a cross-section of wines from our favourite Czech and Slovak vineyards — Vadura, Bestué, Leo&Niné, Vinařský dům Mařatice. It was intimate, yet warm.
Saturday 13.04 opened the doors to all residents of Katowice. From morning to evening the shop was full — people came in from the street, stayed for a chat, returned after shopping in neighbouring stores. That day, the wine we poured was measured not in bottles, but in new acquaintances.
