20 March 2026, 8:00 pm, Kapka Wina Knurów at ul. Szpitalna 1C welcomed guests on an exceptional journey through the sun-drenched vineyards of Spain and the picturesque wine regions of Slovenia. The tasting was hosted by Tomasz Goc from Slovine — an enthusiast and connoisseur who took participants on a fascinating story about the differences between the temperament of Spanish wines and the elegance of Slovenian ones.
Seven wines, two worlds
The evening was built around 7 carefully selected wines from three vineyards that Slovine works with directly:
- Bestué — Somontano, Spain. A vineyard that combines Aragonese tradition with a modern approach to terroir.
- Leo&Niné — a niche producer from northern Spain, signature wines from limited parcels.
- Krampač — Slovenia, Goriška Brda region. Elegance, freshness, precision — three words that kept coming back in the descriptions of that evening.
What you will learn — and what you will take away
Tomasz's tastings are not a display of expertise for experts. They are a conversation about how to taste wine mindfully — how to recognise hidden aromas, how to compare regional styles, how to build your own vocabulary of flavours locked in the glass.
Each wine had its story. Each participant left with a different set of favourites — one favoured the spirited Garnacha from Bestué, someone else fell in love with the mineral whites from Krampač.
