If during your holiday in Wisła you start missing authentic Czech flavours, Hospoda s knedlíkem at 1 Maja 60C (right by the market square) will be a bullseye. Guests unanimously praise the large portions of typical dishes — goulash with dumplings, fried cheese, halusky and the sensational soups: garlic and cheese. It is an excellent alternative to the "pseudo highland specialities of the promenade", and the presence of satisfied Czech tourists is the best testament to the quality of the cuisine.
The place is spacious and dog-friendly, and the service receives positive reviews. Families appreciate the fresh nuggets for children, and adults — kofola to drink. This is a place you want to return to, to try more dishes.

Bożydar Nowakowski ★★★☆☆ · 6 months ago A place right by the market square in Wisła, really plenty of space although the service seemed a bit frightened and even though we were probably the only guests, it was hard for anyone to come over to us. We ordered goulash with dumplings for 46 zł and fried cheese with chips for 41 zł. Beer for 15 zł (ultimately 16 on the receipt). Waiting time 10 min. The goulash was really well seasoned, a very thick sauce that worked perfectly with the dumplings throughout the meal. The meat was substantial, full, unfortunately there was a bit too little of it for that price. As a dish for a bigger person it is rather not enough to fill you up. The second dish was ordinary, shop-bought cheese. The chips were slightly stale and in a small quantity. The tartare sauce was very strongly horseradishy, the first time I have come across one like that. Better with sausage than with chips and cheese. The salad of iceberg lettuce with a few pieces of cucumber, tomato and onion, a bit peppered, unfortunately all drenched in mayonnaise that soaked through the whole thing. In summary, the first dish was very good, the second not necessarily. The high prices do not translate into the taste at all, and unfortunately the small portions that go with them do not encourage me to return to this place much. Mixed feelings. PS we also ordered a Litovel black lemon beer and received a strong dark one with no option to swap. They charged 1 zł extra for that too :(

Typical Czech dishes, a very good alternative to the pseudo highland specialities of the promenade. I think that if someone dines on the promenade for a longer time during their holiday, they should definitely visit this place. A plus is the level of service in the summer, on a Saturday at 19:30 with a full house we did not have to wait long.
